ऊर्ध्वपातन, निक्षेपण, संगलन तथा वाष्पीकरण से आप क्या समझते हैं?
(What do you understand by sublimation, deposition, fusion and evaporation?)
ऊर्ध्वपातन:- द्रव अवस्था में परिवर्तित हुए बिना ठोस अवस्था से सीधे गैस अवस्था में बदलने की प्रक्रिया को ऊर्ध्वपातन कहते हैं ।
(Sublimation:- The process of directly changing from solid state to gas state without changing into liquid state is called sublimation.)
निक्षेपण:- द्रव अवस्था में परिवर्तित हुए बिना गैस अवस्था से सीधे ठोस अवस्था में बदलने की प्रक्रिया को निक्षेपण हैं ।
(Deposition: -The process of changing directly from the gas state to the solid state without changing into the liquid state is called deposition.)
संगलन :- गलने अर्थात् ठोस अवस्था में द्रव अवस्था में परिवर्तित होने की प्रकिया को संगलन कहते हैं ।
(Fusion: Melting, that is, the process of converting solid state into liquid state is called fusion. )
वाष्पीकरण:- किसी द्रव के क्वथनांक से कम ताप पर उस द्रव का गैस (वाष्प) में बदलने की प्रकिया को वाष्पीकरण कहते हैं । वाष्पीकरण एक सतही प्रकिया है।
(Evaporation: The process of changing a liquid into a gas (vapour) at a temperature lower than the boiling point of a liquid is called evaporation. Evaporation is a superficial process.)
